When I run Quick export on my laptop in Chrome after I hit submit info always opens in wordpad. I need it to open in excel. Other than copy/paste are the ways to change what I open with?

To set .txt files to open with excel by default you could change the browser settings by following the steps mentioned below.
1. On the Start menu, click Settings.
2. Click Apps > Default apps.
3. Click the App you want to change, and then select an App from the list.

RapidApp? You want to connect .txt fileds to Excel.
Good news and bad news. The good news is, you can change this setting for any computer, and you only have to do it once. Bad news is, it's a bit of a lift.
Here's what you want to do:
The good news is, you only have to do this process once, and then WIndows will write a registry entry to your computer, so every time you download a .TEXT file from PowerSchool, you just double-click on it, and it'll open in Excel.
