I am trying to create a profile through a TalentEd Hire website and I cannot figure out where to go to create one.

Once you find a job that you would like to apply for, simply click on the title of the job or click Apply. You will be taken to a page where you can review a description of the position and apply to it by clicking Apply for This Position. The next page will prompt you to create a new account if you are a new applicant to this district/organization. For more information, I recommend reviewing the article by clicking here.

I just got a great question from an existing employee. He does not currently want to apply to any open positions; however he would like to generate a profile so that he can sign up for Job Alerts. For a work-around, I instructed him to click on the "Apply" option, create a new profile, and then when he is directed back to the actual application, to click cancel. This redirects him back to the list of current job openings (and identifies his username at the top of the page) and therefore allows him to sign up for job alerts. I will walk him through the process of looking at "Internal job postings," separately. My question is, can a user create a profile without clicking "Apply" first?

Unified Talent Applicant Tracking offers the option to Sign Up for Job Alerts without creating a profile.
You will want to click on the Sign Up for Job Alerts option under Menu and enter your email address to receive Job Alerts.
