As are we. Apparently, it's a scheduled maintenance, but of course we've had an issue with COVID that we need our powerschool access now for in order to contact families and from what I can gather, the maintenance won't be over until 4:00PM...
Figures...
Did anyone receive notification about this maintenance? I did received notification about maintenance next weekend but I don't recall seeing one for this weekend.
This notification did come out Tuesday November 10th. Unfortunately, the down time was much longer than usual. (In our case at least 3 1/2 hours.)

I found this in my inbox... Hopefully, it won't be down as long as they mentioned. That's a long outage with so many dependent on the SIS being up almost at all times, especially with COVID, etc.

This is a notice for an upcoming maintenance that is being conducted on our SaaS platform. There is downtime associated with this maintenance. Please see below details.
Maintenance Window: Sunday November 15, 2020 4:00am - 4:00pm PST
PowerSchool SIS will be unavailable during this maintenance.
Reason for Maintenance: We are performing operating system/security patching on PowerSchool SIS. The application will be available for the majority of the window. However, customers will experience intermittent connectivity as the operating system/security patches are applied.
Thank you for responding. I had not gotten this notice and neither did Canty who we deal with for PowerSchool. We definitely need it today for a Covid Trace.... 😞
We have the same issue. Huge problems with PowerSchool Hosted. We did much better when we ran our own servers.
Thank you. I don't know how I missed this one. Our first trimester just ended and faculty are entering grades and comments into the system...deadline is tomorrow morning. I guess we'll need to extend it.
It came back up for us around 5:30EST, so thankfully we were able to get our message out. Hope everyone else was able to access it around the same time we were! 🙂
