I have several administrators that cannot access the system. They receive an email that states they do not have an account and identified 403 as the error code. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi @nctominov,
Thank you for your post in PowerSchool Community!
To assist you better with the issue you are facing, would you please share more on this scenario? Are they trying to access a PowerSchool product or Community?
HI, they are trying to log into Professional Learning. Thanks! Natacia
Hi @nctominov,
Thank you for the update.
We haven't received any reports on the same yet. Could you please follow up with them and confirm if they are still seeing the 403 error? We also recommend clearing the browser's Cookies and Cache and try again.
We had the users clear the cookies and cache. We also tried 2 different browsers (Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge).
I've attached the error message that some users are receiving. When accessing the URL, it redirects to https://joliet86.pl.powerschool.com/ia/empari/error/403
SSO is working.
Are there other things we can check?
Thanks...R. Herod
Another thing that we have noticed. Some of the users that are having issues, are ones that had a name and email change, so we went into Professional Learning and changed the 'Username' and 'Primary Address' fields.
Hi @rherod,
The 403 error is usually generated because the system could not find the value returned by the Single Sign-On to the Professional Learning application. The value provided on the application should match what the district has in the SSO for the staff member.
Since there was an email information change on the user's account, it may take some time to update. If the users continue to face an issue logging in, please create a case with the Professional Learning support team which will help us take a better look at the district's set up to provide a solution.
