Our schol district is having the same issue, we have a case entered and it appears that it is a product defect and At this time you may manually update any duplicated ID numbers while they work to get this fixed.
Thank you for posting in PowerSchool Community!
As @ROBING4 has mentioned, we are aware of the issue with the same id being assigned to each when posting jobs. We are actively working on a resolution to resolve this issue as soon as possible. For the time being, we recommend updating the posting id manually as a workaround.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience in advance.
What guidelines should we follow for choosing Posting ID's manually so we don't create problems when the system is able to assign them again? Thank you, Angela
I echo Angela's question. Can you advise us what is the best way to manually assign Posting ID's so as to not create more confusion for ourselves until the issue is resolved when the system resumes doing it automatically? Thanks for any help!
Yes! As I was explaining above, you can navigate to Tools and Job postings. From here, you can create the Job Posting and enter your own ID to eliminate the double posting ID’s. It will not affect the automated posting ID’s when we correct this issue. Very sorry for any inconvenience!
As they have said above, you can navigate to Tools > Job Posting > Edit the Job posting with the duplicate ID and change it in the Posting ID field and scroll down to hit Save. It will not affect the job ID’s when the issue is corrected. It will assign the ID’s as normal.
