Hide rows and columns on "Current Class" Screen

My current classes screen is overwhelming. Powerschool is incredibly frustrating to use because it is not intuitive or user friendly and the customizations are extremely limited.

 

1) I never need to submit a lunch count or print class reports. Can we make it so this screen is customizable and I can hide this columns?

 

2) The way classes are scheduled in my school, I see my lunch, my planning period, and my teaching duty on my screen. Can we make it so this screen is customizable and I can hide these rows?

PowerSchool is extremely customizable, just not by the end-user, especially when the end-user is a teacher.

 

There is nothing you can do as a teacher to remove the icons on that page, but if your PS Admin knows HTML/SQL/etc. they can.

 

If you have been assigned a section of Lunch/Prep/Duty as a teacher (never heard of this being done, and I work with 70+ districts) you cannot remove those.

It is disappointing that the most commonly used tools by teachers are not customizable. Making screens more simplified and easier to navigate would be such a blessing to teachers.  

 

Thanks for the information on the icons. Do you know where there are PS Admin directions for how to remove the icons?

Your PS Admin will need to know HTML and customize the teacher/home.html page in CPM directly or via page fragment. In the attached image, the page has been customized. The icons in the red box have been added, and as you can see the lunch icons are not there.
