-You can Re-Load as many times as you like with no ill consequences.
-How are you designating grade-level sections? If you are using Section Types, be sure the Section and the request both have the section type on them. Also be sure the course prefs are set to use section types.
-If the students do not have quarter electives make sure they have requests for those courses and make sure the courses are set to be scheduled and actually have sections the students can get into. Also make sure there is room for the students to fit them into their schedule.
PowerScheduler is very difficult to troubleshoot without access to your system.
DANG you Commit your schedule EARLY!
Good morning! I hope you can help me figure out how to resolve an error I received after I committed my schedule. Here is the error message:
Terms::setParameters Please report what you just did, and the above information. REF_errorPutadmin/tech/operationprogress.html UID: 10A854; etc.
I have checked everything I know to check, such as making sure my terms and years are correct. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
If that error stopped the Commit, you can simply re-Commit. If you are not sure if the Commit worked, you can compare the ScheduleCC table to the CC table and the ScheduleSections table to the Sections table.
If you are getting that error and the Commit will not work, you should open a ticked with the Vendor.
If you are only using the grade level field on a section to try and control the grade level that loads into that section, the grade level field on the section does not function that way. The grade level field on the section is for filtering purposes when making manual schedule changes. As Jeff indicated you would need to use section types to force sections to load by grade level.
