Creating sub groups within one class on power teacher pro

I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade p.e. Classes all day, and every 4 1/2 weeks we rotate from Health (a different teacher) to P.E.....the old power school would let me create sub groups to label each teachers group within one class period, so when my group rotated to health we could still filter by group a, b, or c. Why did they get rid of this function? We used this every year and now we can’t separate our groups within each period. Does anyone know how to create sub groups and filter them in Power teacher Pro? This is driving me bonkers!!
