Assign a checklist for an existing employee


We have copied the 'Exit Checklist' and we are trying to use it-but I have a few questions.  We need the checklist linked to the employee who is exiting but when we assign the checklist to the person they get the notification.  I need the 'Group' who is going to be handling the exit tasks, but there isn't capability to auto assign to a group. Also there are tasks in the checklist that don't have a document-like turn off badge-that is set-up with in the checklist to go to the 'Exit Group' but again the employee is getting the notification and not the groups.

How can I go about doing this?
