Student Growth Assessments (SGAs)

To access “Student Growth Assessment” data,

  1. Select the “Local Assessments” tab at the top of the “Student Snapshot” screen.
  2. Click the “SGAs” tab to the right of “Benchmarks,” shown circled in the following image.

Student growth assessment data is displayed by table.

The “Tabular View” provides a comparison of a selected student’s scores to school, district, and state percentiles and averages.

The tabular view features a list of tests, ordered by date and quarter.

  1. The first column of the table is the “Test Type,” or subject of the exam.
  2. The second column of the tabular view lists the “Test” name.
  3. The third column indicates the “Date” the test was taken.
  4. The fourth column lists the “Quarter” in which the test was taken.
  5. The fifth column lists the student’s “Score” for each test.
  6. The sixth column, “School Percentile,” gives the student’s ranking on the exam relative to every other student that took the exam in the school.
  7. The seventh column, “District Percentile,” gives the student’s ranking on the exam relative to every other student that took the exam in the district.
  8. The eighth column lists the “School Average” for each test. The “School Average” is for all student scores within the school on the exam.
  9. The ninth column lists the “District Average” for each test. The “District Average” is for all student scores within the district on the exam.

Printing Student Growth Assessment Data

To print “SGA” data, right-click on the table and select “Print…” from the drop-down menu.

Exporting Student Growth Assessment Data

To export “SGA” data, right-click on the table and select “Send to Excel” or “Export…”from the drop-down menu.
