1. Hover over “Reporting” and select “Student Growth” from the drop-down menu. 2. Select from theDistrict,School,Terms,Subject, andMetricdrop-down menus, indicated with arrows in the following image. 3. Click “Start Report.”
The report will include students assigned to the selected district and school who took the pre-and-post-assessments associated with the metric during the selected term.
The report lists each student’sBaseline Number CorrectandBaseline Percent Correct. TheBaseline Number Correctrefers to how many items the student answered correctly on the pre-assessment. The total number of items included on the exam will appear at the top of the column in parentheses. TheBaseline Percent Correctis the student’s score on the pre-assessment.
The next two columns are theLower Expected Rangeand theUpper Expected Range. These percentages are the minimum and maximum ranges of the growth target established for the student. With expected growth, the student’s post-assessment scores is anticipated to fall within these ranges.
Each student’sPost Assessment Number CorrectandPost Assessment Percent Correctare listed next. ThePost Assessment Number Correctrefers to how many items the student answered correctly on the post-assessment. The total number of items included on the exam will appear at the top of the column in parentheses. ThePost Assessment Percent Correctis the student’s score on the post-assessment.
Lastly are the students’GrowthandAchievement.Growthis noted as High, Typical, or Low. Students scoring above the target range fall into the high growth category, while students falling below the target fall into the low growth category. Students falling within the target are showing typical growth.Achievementis determined based on the cut score for the post-assessment and is noted as either Pass or Did Not Pass for each student.
Student Growth reports can be sorted by clicking on a column header. The report will be sorted by the data in the selected column. A triangle will appear in the bottom right corner of the column header, indicated by an arrow in the following image. Click the triangle to sort the data in either ascending or descending order.
Student Growth reports can be exported by clicking the export icon at the top of the report, shown circled in the following image.
