PowerTest Errors

There are only 3 errors a student can receive when attempting to sign in to PowerTest.

  1. “Duplicate student”
    1. This indicates the student has more than one account in PowerSchool. The student will be unable to test until Support is contacted to merge the duplicate student accounts.
  2. “No Tests”
    1. The student is using the incorrect student ID number
    2. The student has no tests assigned to them
  3. “Not Found”
    1. The student is using the incorrect URL for the district.

 

What is this and How does it relate to PowerSchool Assessment

  • The 3 error messages listed above are the only ones a student can receive when attempting to use PowerTest. The causes listed with each message are the only ones that currently exist.

Associated Protocol

  • The Duplicate Student error requires Support to merge the accounts. The No Tests and Not Found Errors can be addressed and corrected by school staff.
