Failed validation email error when first logging into schoolspring

I am trying to update my profile on Schoolspring and can login, but the moment I login, it asks for me to agree to the terms of service. Once I click accept and submit, I get an error stating failed validation:email. Makes no sense as it logs me in using my email and I can't get past this screen to my profile.
