Enrollment Express Registration Before Rollover

Our district uses Enrollment Express/eCollect but does not utilize the pre-registration forms. Is it possible to start registration for the next school year before rollover, or is that a dangerous idea? It appears other schools wait until after rollover, but I wanted to verify if it was possible.

For anyone finding this out, doing registration for Enrollment Express/Ecollect before rollover is not possible. It is possible to do it if you use PowerSchool Enrollment (formerly Infosnap), as that exists outside of PowerSchool.
