topic Clarification For Customer Plugins Using OAuth and the API in Community Forum

Has anyone gotten clarification from PowerSchool regarding customer-authored plugins and the use of the API? The FAQ article regarding non-partner plugins (https://help.powerschool.com/t5/PowerSchool-SIS-Release/FAQ-Regarding-Non-Partner-Plugins-in-PowerSchool-SIS-2026-Update/ta-p/529133) is not clear regarding customer-developed plugins that use the API and OAuth to locally retrieve and/or update data in our own PowerSchool systems. The following seems to indicate that the only path forward is using Data Export Manager to generate csv files:

"this applies specifically to PowerQueries used within DEM that do not enable OAuth."

In the past we were assured that while non-partner vendors are not allowed to use the API, customer districts that use the API internally would be allowed to do so. Now it seems that may no longer be the case.
