New Indiana Diploma Type / Compliance / Transcript Tab

We have the new Indiana diploma level types in the drop down box on the Graduate Tab under Compliance but Powerschool has not yet been updated on the Transcript Tab under Compliance. Is anyone else in Indiana having issues with the new Indiana diploma types NOT appearing in the Compliance / Transcript / Diploma level? The diploma type will not show up in Parchment until we get them listed in the drop down box.

Yes, others in Indiana have reported the same issue — the new diploma types show correctly in the Graduate Tab but are not yet reflected in the Transcript Tab, which prevents them from appearing in Parchment. It looks like this is a Powerschool update gap that still needs to be addressed.

Thank you for your input. I'm glad to know that other schools have the same issue. Our corporation Powerschool guru had reached out to PS and provided me with this response:

It sounds like PowerSchool is not going to do anything until they have information from Parchment about the field list for the new/updated transcripts. If we can obtain that, then hopefully PS can be updated.

I opened a ticket with Parchment and they are currently researching the issue. They have been asking me questions about the field and the diploma types so hopefully it gets resolved soon. I'm just comforted to know that other schools are in the same boat and we are not sailing alone. 🙂

Has anyone had any luck with Parchment? We just opened up a ticket with them but have been poking for solutions until we hear back.

I worked with Parchment for quite a while, only for them to report that it is a PowerSchool issue. I opened a ticket with the PowerSchool and had many conversations, including sharing screens remotely, providing them detailed documentation and samples only to be told that I am not our corporations PowerSchool tech person so they were no longer able to assist me. Advised me to have our tech person reach out to them. I guess the everyday user that has to use it every day and confirm the accuracy of our records is not important enough to work on resolving the issues that we are having. However, our tech person is the one that told us to reach out to Parchment in the first place because PowerSchool wasn’t going to do anything until Parchment provided them field information. Chasing our tails here…

I reached out to our account owner/rep with all of the up to date information I have. I feel like if we could get Powerschool support and Parchment support on a call together, they might be able to either resolve this issue or at least provide some sort of clear information on why it can't be resolved. Ill reply again if I can get any traction on this. I'm also going to reach out to a PSUG admin I know to see if he has any ideas.
