Online registration when Parent Portal is closed for the summer?

I am fairly new to PowerSchool. I am wondering how I can continue with online registration through our Portal when it is closed for the summer. I have my registration forms in my SIS but if I turn off the Parent Portal for the summer, how can new families complete registration.

Thank you for any help you can lend a "newbie"

Sounds like they would not be able to. You may want to leave the Portal open but simply turn off most of the features. You can also suppress classes foe the new year if you are worried about folks seeing schedules.

One workaround we’ve seen is schools enabling a separate online registration link even if the main Parent Portal is temporarily closed. If you're handling remote education like we do at Holy Quran Classes, clear communication with parents about access times and alternate submission options really helps avoid confusion. Hopefully, PowerSchool will consider a more flexible summer setup in the future!

We leave our Parent Portal open and suppress student schedules until we are ready for them to see them.
