What is the concern? There is no question posted on this thread.

If you are asking how to adjust an expression of a section and are getting the "Orphan Attendance" error, the answer is you cannot.

You must create a new section with the correct expression, drop the kids from the old and enroll into the new.

Thanks for chiming in and, yes, that was indeed part of the question (original post that this reply somehow got detached from).

We're just swapping two periods. I was able to do it for 5 sections, but the 6th and last threw the error — I could add a period but not remove. Not sure why — there is no (visible) attendance record. I thought I could perhaps address it by using the Clear Attendance tool, but that seems to be gone in the latest version of PS.

Any thoughts?

ETA: I'd rather avoid making a new section, adding, and dropping, but I will do that as a last resort once the marking period ends.

You could likely do it on the back end via DDA if you knew exactly what you were doing but, frankly, it would be more work than creating a new section. You can also no longer adjust times in a Bell Schedule once attendance has been taken; you have to create an entire new one. PITA, I know.
