Is it possible to retrieve a student's record that has been archived?

@hondroscollege If you are asking about searching for inactive students, simply add a / to your search term. For instance

/last_name=smith

The student is still active. However, they have been archived from a particular class.

@hondroscollege I am unfamiliar with the term "Archived" in that context. Are you using PowerSchool? Do you mean dropped from a class?

We're using Schoology. The student was removed from the class.

Ah, I have no access to Schoology, but if your teachers have access to PT Pro, they can go to Students>Show Dropped.

You need to re-enroll the student in the class to retrieve the grades and submission. Please refer to the steps mentioned in this document.
