Apologies for the delay in reaching back. I understand that the date has passed, but I would like to share that information on incidents here. This document should help you with that.

I am the new data coordinator in my district. I have been tasked to learn how to use the Incidents section and train on it this Friday. I was just informed tonight..eeek!

Where do I begin? Is there something I need to go setup first? All of the videos I have found only show how to put the incidents in and run reports.

What do I need to do to set up behavior codes and other back end setups?

It isn't a document; it is just a link to the Online built-in PS help.

https://ps.powerschool-docs.com/pssis-admin/latest/incident-types

Make sure what you do in IM does not conflict with reporting requirements. For example, in New York, State Ed manages "VADIR" reporting codes (Violent and Disruptive Incident Reporting).
